Amid the impressive mountain landscape around Haunold, sustainability is for us more than just an aspiration – it is part of our identity. The authenticity of this landscape and the people who shape it are especially close to our hearts. From this grows our responsibility to preserve traditions while also contributing mindfully to the future of this living environment.
This awareness accompanies our daily actions and flows into every decision we make. With targeted measures to protect resources and preserve this unique natural environment, we have been awarded the Sustainability Label of South Tyrol.
A key component of our sustainable approach is the use of renewable energy sources. With our photovoltaic system, we generate part of our electricity directly on site. In addition, we obtain energy from Alperia, a regional provider that relies entirely on renewable sources.
Heating is supplied by the Dobbiaco–San Candido biomass plant, which uses wood chips instead of fossil fuels. The electricity comes from regional hydropower in the South Tyrolean mountains.
In this way, an energy concept is created that combines modern infrastructure with a respectful approach to nature.
For us, sustainability also means promoting new ways of mobility. For guests with electric vehicles, e-charging stations are available directly in our garage – discreetly integrated, comfortable, and forward-looking.
Sustainability is also tangible in our daily operations. We use water and energy consciously, continuously reduce waste, and pay careful attention to the selection of our materials.
Our aim is not perfection, but continuous development – step by step, with responsibility and conviction.
Wherever possible, we work with partners from South Tyrol and rely on regional products. This strengthens the local economy, shortens transport routes, and preserves the authenticity of our surroundings.
